It’s my friend Greta’s birthday today, yaay!
It’s my last week in China! It’s crazy to think how short of a while ago it was when I was freaking out about coming here. And now it’s all over! I’m crazy excited to get home after a year, but I’m also getting rosey eyed about this place.
But it’s also exam week here! Yaaaay. The best part about drawing in exams is that you can just draw the heck you want, and not have to worry about backgrounds or stuff you should be improving on, and just draw what you like drawing most! For me, it’s a pretty girl with flowers in her hair.
What started out as a commission of sorts turned into a birthday gift! It’s his character from our roleplaying game, called Stowe, who is constantly trying to set things on fire/sneak attack npcs.
Oh, and he’s got an axe for that.
Because this show is the best, you should watch it if you’re not already.
A sketchbook sketchdump!
30 day art challenge: One, some, or all of your friends
Just came back from Sanya with my friend Hatty! It’s so cold in Nanjing at the moment, so we decided to defrost over there. However, due to travelling complications, we ended up staying in an airport from 3am until a more reasonable hour! So hatty let me draw her whilst we camped out at the airport’s KFC. I’ve never drawn from life using my tablet before, it was a lot of fun!
30 day art challenge: Someone you like (celebrity, significant other, or crush)
Lee pace. Need I say more?
30 day drawing challenge: yourself or your persona
My resolution for the new year is to draw more! I’ve not done as much as I should since my art a-level days, and this year I want to improve as much as I can, before I have to start writing my dissertation
Happy late birthday, Emily!
